The beef was cooked medium rare and it looked very appetizing. The very sad thing is that when I cut into it and tried it there was no taste and it seemed like I was chewing on rubber. That’s what I get for buying crappy quality beef, and let me tell you that there is a very big difference in the quality of meats. After that night I made a promise to myself that price wasn’t going to be an issue when it comes to enjoying a good piece of steak. I don’t care anymore because taste is what is most important.
So now I am back in the store looking to buy beef again, well guess what I left empty handed because my decision was to go straight to the local butcher and pay a little bit more for some kobe beef. At this moment I feel very happy because quality was paid for, and kobe flank steak is what was chosen. The drive home seemed to take forever and there was traffic on every street, it's like the bad beef gods didn’t want me to get home and try the good stuff.

The steak just melts in your mouth and is not at all chewy, I wish everybody reading this could try it, actually I beg you to try it because you will be converted from a beef atheist to a religious beef eater.
